Here's the Pick Up as we purchased it near San Francisco. We've got a full history on it - Larry Stallions from Oregon did the majority of the Hot Rodding work back in the mid 90s - and he did a great job! This truck is beautiful to drive....

So what are our plans for this Baby? Famous Pacific Shipping did a great job of picking the truck up and tranpsorting to LA to Able Shipping before putting on the boat to NZ where it arrived in top condition.

Mark Stokes of M.S Vehicle Certification has inspected the truck and given us a small list of jobs to do - nothing too major.

We have already delivered it to Geno and the team at Taupo Panel & Paint who are going to repair a very small amount of body rust. They will then paint it gloss black with traditional Hot Rod flames in yellow/orange/red with purple tips using quality Spies Hecker and House of Kolor products. Geno is also making a tail gate for it - he is very talented!

Ron from Custom Auto Glass is providing all new tinted glass and rubbers for the truck.

Wheels will be Cragar to suit the truck and Meads Auto Trimmers in Matamata will be making up some door panels and a tonneau cover for the tray.

And to finish it off there will be a Sony Xplod sound system installed!

July 12th and the truck is delivered to Geno at Taupo Panel & Paint.

UPDATE: July 24th
Ron from Custom Auto Glass made the trip to Taupo to meet Geno and remove the glass. Ron will replace all the Glass ,with New tinted Auto-Grey tint Glass and all Door glass felts-rubbers-fuzzies-channels will be replaced.
The Windscreen & Back screen will be custom glazed in the modern urethane system with dress up custom mouldings around the glass edges to look smooth & flushed. The Door glass  edges will be Round & Polished by hand  , as per originally done back in the day......(So they roll up & down super smooth)...not flat polished as other glass shops do these days
