Repco Pre-49 Hot Rod Show
We are holding a pre-49 only Hot Rod Show during the festival on Saturday 26th March at the Whangamata Club. Entry is for Saturday Day Pass and full festival entrants and restricted to cars made BEFORE 1949. There is room for about 100 cars and Al & the Wild Katz will be performing at the Club during the day. Full festival entrants with Pre-49 Hot Rods have the option of driving the Makita Grand Parade and then heading to the Club car park, or they can park there for the Show from 9am. Repco are sponsoring the trophy for the BEST HOT ROD and entrants are in the draw to win either the T Bird or Pick Up truck. Century Batteries Classic Car, Caravan & Boat Show Nearly Full!
The show at the Coastguard Reserve on Saturday 26th March is very close to being full so it should be a cracker of a show. If you have a classic caravan or boat and want to be part of this show then we suggest you enter now. Caravanz Downunder are putting up $2000 for the best caravan!

We’ve had over 150 vehicles enter our “Feature Car” Programme promotion which just blew us away! The winners will be kept secret – you won’t know which cars & bikes will be featured in the Festival Programme until you receive your entry pack early March…. This has been a lot of fun and we thank all those who took the time to email a photo of their pride and joy to us. Every car is worthy of a feature – if only we had the room!
