Speaking of world famous entertainers, we’re sure no one at Beach Hop 2009 will ever forget the incredible performance of Whanga Bar Hop Idol winner Freddy Fargon.

He was the weirdo in the pink shirt and blue shorts that blew everyone away with his rendition of “Suspicious Minds” by Elvis.

Freddy has been touring the globe since winning Hop Idol and is still overseas. If we get enough support we may be able to entice him back to New Zealand for Sony Xolod Beach Hop 11 as another special guest.
