Well the sun has come out and things are nice and dry now! Ok, so we had a bit of annoying rain on Friday and Saturday, but that didn’t stop thousands of people having a great time at Sony Xplod Beach Hop 11. A huge thank you to those who came along and enjoyed the show. The weather certainly caused us some challenges, however we got there in the end.

Also a big thumbs up to our crew – we are all volunteers and we do demand a lot from the team – standing for hours in the rain – all for a T shirt and hat. There has been some incredible coverage of Sony Xplod BH11 in the media – especially the Bay of Plenty Times. The NZ car magazines are also hard at work putting their coverage together the first should be hitting the bookshelves very soon. We will keep you informed.

We are tidying up a few loose ends and hope to announce how much money we raised for the local emergency services very soon. And planning for the 2012 festival is already underway!
